Sutiya women wear a Mekhela or Igu skirt and cover it with an Isa or Risa at the upper part of the body. They use a Gamocha, Gathigi, or wafer for head-covering. On the contrary, Sutiya men's attire includes wearing Paguri as a turban and as covering to his lower part, Dhoti, or Churiya.

They will strap Tangali around their waist while wearing it as girdle. Furthermore, their Cheleng and Bisuwan are draped like those of a Gamocha to complete the traditional look. Such kind of traditional attire do not only keep the Sutiya community alive with its roots, but it is also a marker of their identity.
